Seasonal Receptionist

We need a SEASONAL Receptionist now through April 15th to assist our admin/support team.  Ideally, this would be someone who can be available when needed, and has the flexibility to vary their hours day to day if needed.  We will need help at the front desk, scanning, sorting mail, as well as assisting with other administrative-related tasks around the office.  Below are some of the requirements needed:

  • As Receptionist, this person must have strong verbal communication skills, have a pleasant and professional image and demeanor, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • For administrative-related tasks, this person must have basic computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, and they must be organized

  • Some experience with AP would be a plus!

  • Above all, we want someone reliable, and who will be a team player with a positive attitude!

Firm Administration - Receptionist

  • The individual will provide receptionist duties for the entire office served.  As a Receptionist, the role is critical to the success of the firm’s client service delivery.  The individual will oftentimes be the first point of contact for external clients, candidates, vendors, and internal colleagues.  Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Answering a multi-line phone system, routing calls, taking messages and executing upon their delivery

  •  Greeting clients, candidates, and vendors.

  •  Serving as a “floater”, providing general administrative support to a diversified internal   client base (this may include typing, filing, document compilation, data entry, etc.)

Essential Experience (special skills and experience, licenses, certifications, and education)

  • Minimum 1+ years of receptionist or administrative experience; previous experience in a professional services firm ideal

  • Demonstrated experience working a multi-line phone system

  • Strong verbal communication skills, pleasant and professional Strong professional image and demeanor

  • Basic computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook

  • Demonstrated customer focus

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated team player with a positive attitude!

*This position requires flexibility. The ideal candidate will be available to cover shifts for employees who call out.*
